Baidoa,(insidesomalia.org)- Further minutes lasted gunfire has taken place in the vicinity of Somali parliament’s headquarter in Baidoa town the temporary base of the government on Wednesday night as delegates from the United Nation and the prime minister due to arrive in the town Thursday-police said.
“Armed youths group have attacked the parliament headquarter know as (ADC) where sudden clash has erupted” police official who declined to identify told Shabelle English service” they were seen going around the senate headquarter”
He added that the police forces have pursued the attackers and cased out.
Residents in the town told that they heard additional shooting of guns close to ADC location.
The special guards of the presidential palace in the town have suddenly arrived at the clashed scene where they’ve in the interim time seized the control of the high-ranking government official’s homes in particular the fortress.
No comments could be reached from the government officials regarding on this incident.
Elsewhere delegate members from the UN led by the United Nations special envoy for Somalia Ahmadu Ould Abdalla is anticipated to arrive in Baidoa town the provincial capital of Bay region Thursday government officials said.
Also the prime minister of the transitional government Nor Hassan Hussein will also land at Baidoa town’s airport.
The motive of the UN officials and the prime’s arrival subject was reported to be the formation of right constitution for the government.
